Because there was such a high demand for this winter beer, it's now released as 'Barbar Bok' during the whole year! These beers are identical.

A dark mahogany colour, almost black with a tan head. Lots of lively carbonation visible.
Fruity smell of oranges, honey and spices.

The taste is dominantly honey, but also roasted malts, correander, yeast and the warming effect of 8 % alcohol. Medium bodied with good drinkability despite the sweetness. Nicely balanced with the spices though. Some dry hoppiness and herbal notes in the aftertaste.

A tasty straightfarward winter-ale from Wallonian-Brabant.
Serve cold at 5°C.
