Saison Voisin, a beer of tradition

On the occasion of the Ducasse Saint-Christophe at Flobecq (July 21st 2001), la Brasserie des Géants brought out, Saison Voisin.

This beer which was brewed according to the original 1884 recipe and under the guidance of retired brewer Mr Leon Voisin, brasseur retraite.

Amber-copper body with a frothy beige head. Aromas of yeast and caramel.

Medium body with creamy frothy carbonation. Flavour is very lightly barnyard with lots of fruit and yeast aspects. Really both dry and astringent with long-lasting bitterness.
A saison for the sophisticated palate. Seriously underrated.

Top-fermented and refermented in the bottle.
