To avoid any confusion this brew is the "Lou Pepe Kriek", which is made with 100 % Schaerbeekse Krieken. Cantillon uses 30 kg of cherries per 100 liter of lambic.

Fresh sour cherries (krieken) in two year old Lambiek.

Approximately 300 gr cherries for 1 liter Kriek are used.

The second fermentation in the bottle is obtained through addition of a liqueur, made with beer and saccharose.
