Corked Bottle. A dark chocolate brown body with a thin, dissipating head.
It smells of brown sugar, malt and alcohol. It smells much sweeter than most Belgian dark ales.

The taste is fruity sweet from grapes and cherries mixed with alcohol and chocolate cookie flavours. Nicely balanced mid-taste from aged hops. Very nice mouthfeel, creamy and full of body. Finishes clean and tasty.
Overall a must try Belgian strong ale and a solid example of a Quadrupel Bruin.

Kasteelbier Bruin has a shelf life of several years and should be served at 12°C.
