The flavour starts tart and becomes quite fruity after the initial sourness as it warms. Also notes of raisins, cherries and oak wood come to mind. Very smooth mouthfeel with Champagne-like carbonation.
The finish is woody-vinous, sweet-tart and dry.

Ichtegem's Oud Bruin is made with 20 % aged beer that undergoes spontaneous fermentation for 18 months in open vessels.
