Corked bottle. Deep red to chestnut brown with a rich beige head.
The smell is Belgian chocolate, brown sugar, roasted grains and burnt wood. The taste is fruity at first, but earthy malts and hazelnut take over.
Well rounded mouthfeel, actively carbonated.

Dryness in the mouth leads me to a clean, dry finish.

A good example for the style, but not overly complex.
This dubbel is smooth and easy to drink. Topfermented.
