The carbonation is crisp for this paterke at first, but mellows down towards the mid-pallet.
The finish is chocolatey with a tough of warming alcohol.

Pater 6 is an expertly crafted Belgian Dubbel, but is probably the least well-known of the Sint-Bernardus-line.
Very easy drinking and full taste, as with all brews from Sint Bernardus.

Water, pumped up from a depth of 150 meter is the basis of all Sint Bernardus beers. This water is not only the purest but has also a historical background. Scientists have proved that the water that is pumped up now, is originating from rainfall from the time of Jeanne d'Arc.
